Long established and highly respected, Cargo Collective like the above is a very good chioce to showcase your skills as an illustrator 

Dribble loves illustration. So get over there and upload your work and lead potential clients to your portfolio.

Tumblr is still the best place to build an online blog or blog style website. Plent of illustrators use tumblr as their main website.
